1. PURPOSE OF THIS PAGE
This Ethical Boundaries & Scope of Practice statement defines the professional, ethical, and safety framework under which RESET with Shai operates.

- client suitability
- safety and wellbeing boundaries
- appropriate use of services
By engaging with our services, you acknowledge and agree to these boundaries.
2. SCOPE OF PRACTICE
RESET with Shai provides:
- Coaching and mindset development support
- Hypnotherapy-informed relaxation and guided subconscious work
- Behavioural pattern awareness and reframing tools
- Educational wellbeing content and digital audio experiences
These services are designed to support personal development, self-awareness, and emotional wellbeing.
We do NOT provide:
- Medical advice or treatment
- Psychological or psychiatric diagnosis
- Clinical psychotherapy or counselling
- Crisis intervention or emergency mental health support
- Prescription or medical guidance of any kind
Our services are complementary and educational, and are not a substitute for medical healthcare professionals.
3. CLIENT SAFETY & SUITABILITY
Our services are intended for individuals who are:
- Emotionally and mentally able to participate in self-reflective work
- Not in acute psychological distress or crisis
- Able to engage voluntarily and with informed consent
We are NOT appropriate for individuals who are:
- Experiencing a psychiatric emergency
- Actively suicidal or at risk of self-harm
- Experiencing severe unmanaged mental health conditions requiring clinical care
- Unable to provide informed consent
If you are in crisis, you are strongly encouraged to seek immediate support from qualified healthcare or emergency services.
4. PROFESSIONAL BOUNDARIES
To maintain ethical integrity and safety, the following boundaries apply:
4.1 No Clinical Relationship
Engagement with RESET with Shai does not constitute:
- doctor–patient relationship
- therapist–client relationship (in a clinical sense)
- psychiatric or psychological treatment relationship
4.2 No Diagnosis or Treatment
We do not:
- diagnose conditions
- treat mental illness
- prescribe interventions for medical or psychiatric disorders
4.3 No Dependency Relationship
Clients are encouraged to develop:
- self-agency
- personal responsibility
- independent decision-making
We do not encourage dependency on any practitioner, method, or program.
4.4 Session Boundaries (where applicable)
For 1:1 or guided work:
- sessions occur within defined time containers
- we do not provide 24/7 availability
- communication is limited to agreed channels
- emergency support is not provided outside session structure
5. HYPNOTHERAPY-INFORMED WORK SAFETY
Our hypnosis-informed content is designed for relaxation and subconscious focus.
You acknowledge that:
- you remain fully aware and in control during all processes
- experiences vary between individuals
- emotional responses may arise during reflection or relaxation
- participation is voluntary at all times
Important Safety Note
If you have a history of severe trauma, psychiatric conditions, or dissociation-related disorders, you should consult a qualified healthcare professional before engaging with hypnosis-based content.
6. EMOTIONAL PROCESSING & RESPONSIBILITY
While our work may support emotional insight and awareness:
- emotional responses are normal and may occur
- individuals process experiences differently
- integration of insights is the client’s responsibility
We do not provide emergency emotional containment or crisis intervention.
7. REFERRALS & PROFESSIONAL CARE
We may recommend or encourage engagement with:
- general practitioners
- psychologists or psychiatrists
- emergency mental health services
- other qualified healthcare providers
This occurs when we believe external clinical support may be appropriate for your wellbeing.
8. CONFIDENTIALITY & ETHICAL HANDLING
We respect client privacy and treat all personal information with care and discretion.
Information is only shared:
- with explicit written consent
- where required by law
- where there is risk of harm to self or others

9. LIMITATION OF RESPONSIBILITY
You acknowledge that:
- you are responsible for your own wellbeing, decisions, and actions
- you engage voluntarily in all services
